Guide To Renting (Tenants)

Renting a property in London offers the greatest accommodation flexibility.

Rental values in London are advertised per week and then calculated as monthly (per calendar month) figures for the contract as most rents are payable monthly in advance.

(£ per week x 52 ÷ 12).

We are accredited members of The Property Ombudsmen scheme which means we follow a Code of Practice and Rules of Conduct. Renting from an accredited agent means you have a route to redress anything that might go wrong. We are also registered and are members of The Office of Fair Trading, and our staff are NAEA & ALRA qualified.

Charges payable by a tenant:

Administration fee: £275

Administration fee for each additional applicant: £150

Referencing fee: £60 per person

Utility Transfer fee (if applicable): £25

Renewal administration fee (if applicable): £200

Deposit:  Typically equivalent to six weeks' rent Inventory check-out charge: this is determined by the size and condition of the property at the end of the tenancy

End of tenancy clean: also determined by the size and condition of the property at the end of the tenancy

Bank ref. fee (if applicable): contact your bank as charges vary

Stamp Duty: only applicable on tenancies of over £125,000

All the above charges are inclusive of VAT.
